Abstract Painting Exhibition Charoon believes in experimenting arts with various methods until one realizes the suitable method for oneself and stick with that method.
He once experimented with abstract paintings right after he graduated from Silapakorn University as he wanted to challenge himself by doing something that was different from what he usually does. Abstract paintings, therefore, were born but were later discarded because he knew right away that "it was not my way". Hence this "Abstract Painting" exhibition at BACC represents what he did as a young artist and what is unlikely for him to ever go back and do it again. |
After The Missing Dialogue Art Exhibition "After Missing Dialogue" is an exhibition by a group of students who have graduated from the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Art, Silapakorn University in 2008. This exhibition has been much discussed during that time, many things have changed, but the idea has finally come to fruition.
We originally anticipated displaying the artwork of a group of 86 friends from the 61st class but ultimately only 21 artists' work was collected to be shown. The absence of many of the original artists is for several reasons. Many dispersed back to their residences. Some of them are overseas. Some delayed graduation, some are in graduate school. And several, many people say, are proudly treading the path of the true artist. |
