Color Communication
By Philip Marc Adomat
5 September - 11 October 2013
People's Gallery P1 - P3, 2nd floor artHUB@bacc

"Color communication" is an absorption of Thai culture and street art style with an abstract expressionism base. All paintings for this show are the most pure version of communication through the artists' own language. Use of colors, street art techniques and influences from abstract expressionism and pop art make the artists' paintings look denser and more multidimensional. Colorful, vibrant and energetic forms express the paintings movement toward a new dimension of happiness.

Between the Space: Workshop on Performance Art with Melati Suryodarmo focuses on understanding the body as the main medium of a performance work, which is one of the way to keep the intension to be transferred. The body can be considered as the container of memories as well as functioning physical, psychological, and socio-cultural body. In this workshop, I would like to offer some physical methods and encourage contextual encounters between the participants.
