Flora Tell
By Rapee Leelasiri
3 - 27 May 2015
People's Gallery P1-P2, 2nd floor

Flowers are universal means with positive sentiment which have always been given as gifts
for special some ones. For "Flora Tell", flowers have been rendered dimensionally with a
palette knife and oil color. The painter has been impressed with this painting method since
she was in the 6th grade. Since then she has continuously practiced this oil color painting
technique. The artist's affection for the technique and her love for flowers are shown
through her unique style of painting as displayed in her first ever solo exhibition.

Art Exhibition "People"
By Janwit Chaisee
5 - 29 May 2015
People's Gallery P3, 2nd floor

This particularly piece of art does not try to communicate any message. The only important thing is the use of colors and the brushstrokes that are raw, fresh, smooth and rough.
There is movement in silence. There is imperfection in perfection. The language of art
you see in front of you is a vessel in which my emotion pours in to for a moment.

with the Thai director after each screening.

The second screening on Saturday 23 May 2015 is Court (India / 2014) directed
by Chaitanya Tamhane. It has been chosen by Aditya Assarat, an acclaimed Thai

"Court is very funny even though it’s not a comedy. The acting is very real. It could
have been acted as a comedy but then it wouldn't have been funny. I laugh because
the actors never let me forget this is a serious situation. That is the power of the movie."
Aditya Assarat

Chaitanya Tamhane
, the film director and Vivek Gomber, the actor and the producer
