Bangkok Art Biennale 2018 19 October 2018 - 3 February 2019 / Main Gallery 7th - 8th Floors, For the first time in Thailand, Bangkok is transformed into a world-class art and cultural city under the theme "Beyond Bliss". Here at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre,you can enjoy the works of 26 contemporary artists. In "Forest Floor 2018", Fiona Hall presents painted parts of skeletons on bottles scattered like ruins of genocides. Bangladesh artist Firoz Mahmud reflects the hopes and dreams of Rohingya migrants through his photographs in "Soaked Dream". Sunanta Phasomwong from Thailand offers sculptures and installation arts of swirling and intertwining wires, forming the shape of human organs which seem strong on the outside but are in fact fragile and ever-changing (Above). "I Cover You!" 8 - 9 December 2018 / Communities in Bangmod Canal Area Bangkok Art and Culture Centre joins hand with Taipei’s Bamboo Curtain Studio (BCS) in the collaborative project, inviting the eco-friendly Taiwanese artist, Fang-Yi Yang (Fay) to collaborate with King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), 3C Project and Bangmod Creative Canal Community Enterprise.
