Beyond Infinity ไม่ . รู้ . จบ

Today - 3 February 2019 / Main Gallery, 8th Floor

Bangkok Art Biennale 2018 continues with three architectural artworks by budding designers of The Association of Siamese Architects under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King. Featured firstly is “Vexed + Voided” by Bea Vithayathawornwong. The black cubic pavilion of charred wood and rebar previously hosted an International Design Competitionexhibition in 2018. "Moving System Pavilion" by Vira Inpuntung and Pich Poshyananda showcases the architectural technique of wood joinery, reflecting the designers’ belief that wood is the only gift material from nature which can be given back through the human act of planting. Last but not least, "Ligature" by Savinee Buranasilapin and Tom Dannecker gave bamboo an image make-over by turning the flexible, economic and quick construction material into an unconventional structure.
