“Something new always replaces something.” Kornthanat Pipat explores the issue of urban metamorphosis through photography in "Capital Memorial", featuring images of Bangkok’s infrastructure as a record of transformation and a means to explore hidden meanings. |

"The remains of memories can only be displayed here because they are dead." In "I will always think of you fondly", Tewprai Bualoy presents electronic parts as "the cadavers of memories" to remind us that nothing lasts, not even memories. |

The 5th Bangkok Triennale International Print and Drawing Exhibition Today - 11 August 2019 2,488 prints and drawings had been submitted by 1,018 artists from 54 countries to the 5th Bangkok Triennale International Print and Drawing Exhibition. Various awards are also given by a panel of Thai and international veteran artists. After careful considerations, the Grand Prize in Print was awarded to the Chinese artist Marta Lech and in Drawing to Thanachai Phromrat from Thailand. Find Out More |
