Created in the decade of transformation, the curated pieces represent the artistic forms, techniques, and methods that broke with tradition and mark the dawn of the Thai contemporary art movement.

Early Years Project - An Incubating Project for Young Artists to take solid steps to produce creative works and establish a healthy and sustainable development.

This year, the Early Years Project #5 continues its mission and calls for a new batch of submissions from next-generation artists. Eight qualified applicants will be selected to join the Project after which they will present their works and the details of their respective creative processes at the Main Gallery on the 9th floor of BACC. They will also take part in workshops, seminars, and other special activities as part of the project. Following the project’s conclusion, a panel of judges will select outstanding works from the artists’ presentations and projects as the winners of Mobility Funding and Artist Residency scholarship.

As the world dramatically changes, the energy crisis is more relevant and close to home than ever. In this outdoor light art festival, you will experience alternative energy first-handed and learn more about clean and renewable energy, especially solar power. All curated pieces will feature electric light generated by solar panels as the main element of the work.
