Damrong WONG-UPARAJ : A Retrospective of Versatility and Discipline
MoNWIC and Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre

20 April – 25 July 2021 / Main Gallery, 8th Floor

The exhibition celebrates the legacy of Assist. Prof. Damrong Wong-Uparaj, Thailand’s 1999 National Artist in Visual Arts. An artist, lecturer, writer, scholar, curator, gallery manager, and conservationist, Damrong was an important force in propelling the Thai art scene. The collection comprises 70 prints and paintings, academic article excerpts, and video interviews of people close to him at different times in his life.

The Royal Photo Exhibition "Life@Home"

The Royal Photographic Society of Thailand, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre and Photographic Arts Foundation

Now - 18 April 2021 / Main Gallery, 9th Floor

This year, more than 700 photographs taken by H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn are exhibited on the Main Gallery 9th floor. On this auspicious occasion, a video of Princess Sirindhorn’s narration on the exhibition photographs is also shown to reflect the Princess’s concept, wisdom and perspective.

The 10th White Elephant Art Award Exhibition "In my dream"
Thai Beverage Public Company Limited and Bangkok Art and Culture Centre

4 May - 22 August 2021
Main Gallery, 7th Floor

This year’s White Elephant Art Award explores the theme of dreams, which involves not only a series of thoughts while sleeping but also fantasies and imagination, as well as economic, social, moral, and local aspirations. Artists may interpret the word "dream" abstractly as a personal state of mind, or concretely as a goal that can be realized.

"Art in Postcards"
Coming this April, the BACC presents four postcards from four artists:
1 April: Give.me.museums and Rukkit
16 April: Nakrob Moonmanas and Inflowerlesson

Those who are interested in supporting the BACC can do so by donating 50 THB and receive the postcard of their choice on the 3rd floor and at the bacc shop on the 5th floor. Online ordering is available through the BACC FB Fanpage. Postcards can be delivered throughout Thailand.

"Art in Postcards Master Series"
The BACC presents four postcards from top Thai artists including: Phansakdi Chakkaphak, Inson Wongsam, Pratuang Emjaroen and Panya Vijinthanasarn. Those who are interested in supporting the BACC can do so by donating 300 THB per set (4 postcards).
 Available on the 3rd floor and at the bacc shop on the 5th floor. Online ordering is available through the BACC FB Fanpage. Postcards can be delivered throughout Thailand.
