It was the first Thai film which was in Competition at the Un Certain Regard section of  the prestigious Cannes festival,after which it went to festivals in Sundance, Rotterdam,Vancouver, Seattle and various others . The film's director Wisit Sasanatieng and cast of  ‘Tears of the black tiger’ will be present for the  film-event, and will do a Q & A after the movie.
