A major Art Brut exhibition in Southeast Asia, with collaborations by 51 artists from both Thailand and Japan, in a variety of forms, including paintings, ceramics, 3D works and photography. Divided into 5 classifications, the Art Brut exhibition explores:

1. Repetition, Dense and Homogeneous
2. Raw Materials Creation in everyday life
3. Desire, the source, what makes them create.
4. Art, which is born in relationship
5. For further creation.

Art of Element & Therapy
Bangkok Art and Culture Centre

'Art therapy' is also known as the art of 'process' that shapes and revives people who feel out of balance, and helps people who are unwell, physically or mentally.

Art of Element & Therapy exhibition will take you to new experiences with art and therapy, focusing on understanding how the visual elements of the art world, the elements of humanity, and elements of therapy affect the process of creating art therapy.

The 5th Bangkok Triennale International Print and Drawing Exhibition
Silpakorn University in cooperation with Bangkok Art and Culture Centre

Today - 11 August 2019 / Main Gallery, 9th Floor

2,488 prints and drawings had been submitted by 1,018 artists from 54 countries to the 5th Bangkok Triennale International Print and Drawing Exhibition. Various awards are also given by a panel of Thai and international veteran artists. After careful considerations, the Grand Prize in Print was awarded to the Chinese artist Liu Jing and in Drawing to Tanachai Prommarat from Thailand.

RIFTS: Thai Contemporary Artistic Practices in Transition, 1980s - 2000s
Bangkok Art and Culture Centre

The exhibition shows shifting phenomenon of Thai artists from late 1980s to 2000s, often considered as a transition period demonstrating the rift in Thai visual arts scene.The ripples created by social, economic and political factors can be seen in the works as well as participatory activities creating dialogue betweens the past and modern art scenes in Thailand.
