Jaras Light Mobile: Songkhla Old Town
Bangkok Art and Culture Centre Foundation
Supported by Office of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC.)

Now – 11 October 2020 / Ban Songkramloke, Nakhon Nok Road, and Walking Plaza, Saksitpitak Pier, Songkhla

Brought to you straight from Bangkok, the mobile exhibition will provide a springboard for creativity and add colors to Songkla Old Town. Partially powered by solar panels, the featured artworks by Nopchai Ungkavatanapong, Wasinburee Supanichvoraparch and Krit Ngamsom aims to draw attention to the use of alternative energy for sustainability. The installations are accompanied by educational displays on the future of energy and a photo exhibition by various artists to broaden the understanding of solar powers. The collections were once displayed as part of the preceding Jaras Lab Exhibition at BACC.

12 October 2020 - 31 January 2021

The biannual art festival set in the capital of Thailand spanning across a period of 4 months will transform the bustling city of Bangkok into a live hub that celebrates art, creativity, and culture. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in an array of artworks and performances from 82 artists, both local and international, throughout the heart of Bangkok, in galleries, public spaces, and iconic landmarks. This year marks the second installment of BAB.
